Week 19 Updates

Happy Thursday!

I hope you are all doing well!

Updates:

If you would like to donate supplies for my classroom I would be forever grateful! Click on the link here and you will find my Wish List on Amazon. Everything is already set up to be shipped to the school address! Feel free to choose a different brand of any of the items as well. I’m not picky. 🙂 THANK YOU to those who have donated already! I appreciate YOU!

Science and STEM-fest:

Students have completed the background research for their projects. The website timeline shows that students should have half of their paper written before the start of break. THAT IS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR MY CLASS. Students will work on the paper when they get back from break. This will give them time to start on their projects during break. If your kid says they don’t know the next steps in the report, they are not lying. 🙂

I would highly encourage students to work on their projects over break, especially if they are science fair, because they will only be given 2-3 days in class to work on their projects.

Here is the link to the website which is a one-stop-shop for all of your Science Fair or STEM questions!

Important Dates:

    • Friday, December 11: Last day to turn in any work from Quarter 2! I will accept assignments until midnight!
    • Monday, December 14: Psychology and forensics finals due (hard deadline- won’t be accepted late)

  • Tuesday, December 15: 7th and 8th Final Tests

*Students are welcome to come to my classroom during lunch on Friday to prepare for the final if they have questions. Home-based students who would like assistance may email me to schedule a meet.*
