What We are Learning: This week students have been learning about atoms and elements. They will be researching natural elements found in our world and that might inspire them to eat more fruits and vegetables to get the benefits of those elements in the human body! Next week they will be learning (and memorizing) the various symbols that represent the elements of the Periodic Table of Elements. Please study with your student so they can be successful on the quiz that will happen as a result.

Weekly Vocab Quizzes: Each week students will take a vocabulary quiz to keep them current in their understanding, and it gives them the opportunity to regularly practice helpful testing skills. The next vocab quiz will be Friday, January 24, 2020. The words included are the following:
