What We are Learning: This week students have been learning about various types of learning. They have done some research and we will have a discussion about the correlation between violence and violent video games. Later in the week they will learn about the foundations of memory. 

 

Weekly Vocab Quizzes: Each week students will take a vocabulary quiz to keep them current in their understanding, and it gives them the opportunity to regularly practice helpful testing skills. The next vocab quiz will be Friday, January 28, 2020. The words included are the following:

  • Cognitive psychology
  • Memory
  • Sensory memory
  • Short-term memory
  • Long-term memory
  • Chunk
  • Rehearsal
